Ms. Danelle Eckhart
Ms. Eckhart holds a Master of Music Education, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Music Education from Illinois State University. She also holds an Associates in Arts and Sciences in Theatre, has completed Orff Level 1 and 2, and is fully certified in Feierabend.
Ms. Eckhart teaches Middle School Chorus, High School Chorus and Exploring Music. She also co-sponsors Thespians, Jr. Thespians and Elementary Showstoppers. Ms. Eckhart is the producer and musical director for the spring musical, and is the founder and director of Theatre Camp. Ms. Eckhart has experience teaching many different music and theatre courses, including Pre-K through 8th grade General Music, Elementary Chorus, Middle School Mixed Chorus, Boys Chorus, Show Choir, High School Chorus, Advanced Vocal Ensemble, Secondary Group Ukulele, Secondary Group Guitar, Elementary Orff Ensembles, and Elementary and Middle School Theatre. She has also directed, music directed and choreographed middle and high school musicals has taught private voice, piano, ukulele and guitar lessons.
Ms. Eckhart is also a classically trained singer. Her favorite performances include soprano soloist in Bach's St. John Passion, soprano soloist in Forrest's Jubilate Deo, Flo in the World Premiere of Baby Shower, Musetta in Puccini's La Boheme, soprano soloist in Saint-Saens Oratorio de Noel, soprano soloist in Vivaldi's Magnificat and Hope in Anything Goes.
Ms. Eckhart is passionate about teaching music and creating lifelong musicians. Her goal is to provide a fun and educational experience where students learn all aspects of music, including music literacy, music history and technique.
