Degrees and Certifications:
Dr. Tiffany Aaron
Greetings! Born and raised in Tallahassee, I am delighted to return home and join the FSUS team. My love for social studies began in secondary school. Social studies, and in particular History, sparked my intrigue about social, economic, and political influences, and equipped me with critical thinking skills necessary to examine the world around me.
After obtaining my bachelor’s from The University of Georgia, I taught social studies in Polk County, Florida. Subsequently, I earned a master’s from Valdosta State University and my doctoral degree from The University of Georgia. My career in education has included: secondary instruction, undergraduate and graduate instruction, professional development consultant, instructional coaching consultant, program evaluation consultant, qualitative research specialist, and education researcher.
My objective is to help students pursue their educational goals and develop the critical academic and social skills necessary for success. My courses for the 2019-2020 school year are World History, World History Honors, American Government, and Economics. I anticipate a productive and exciting school year!
