summer program

  • The 2020/2021 school year has been a unique year, and we recognize the need for our students to take time to relax and refocus before the 21-22 school year.  We also know that high school is the time when students should begin researching potential careers or post-secondary programs.  So instead of completing a required summer reading project, we will be hosting an FSUS Summer Challenge for rising 9th-12th grade students!  Students will complete an interest survey and answer short daily quizzes on ChatterHigh that then guide students to different information on potential college and career opportunities.  Even though the quizzes are called daily quizzes, there is no requirement that they complete them daily.

Participation is NOT required but highly encouraged.  Students earn points as they answer questions.  There are weekly prizes and a grand prize for the most questions answered (see attached flyer) from our community partners Gate, Krispy Kreme, Subway, Smoothie Time, and Adidas!  Please join ChatterHigh’s founder, Lee Taal, Dr. Chambers, and Mrs. Brink, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 27th on FSUS Right Now to discuss the program.
