My name is Mr. Roberts and I am entering my 10th year of teaching and my 9th year at Florida High. My childhood dream of becoming a teacher started when I was just ten years old. One day I realized that almost my entire family had been a teacher at some point in their lives and if I ever wanted to be able to speak at thanksgiving, becoming a teacher was my quickest ticket to a seat at the grown-up table. I've always had a passion for history and I love nothing more than finding a new connection between a two-hundred-year-old event and a breaking story on cable news. My favorite part of teaching is working with the students to develop new skills in my classroom that I know they will need in their everyday life once they leave FSUS.
