Hello, my name is Laura Benitez Roberts and I would like to welcome you to 6th Grade Language Arts and Research!  I am a proud graduate of Flagler College - Tallahasse where I obtained my degree in Elementary Education grades K-6.  This will be my 3rd year at FSUS and my second year as the 6th grade Team Leader.

I grew up in Miami, Florida but decided to settle here in Tallahassee with my husband in 2014. I have a passion for teaching and I am a life-long learner.  When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my friends and husband, reading and taking trips to Universal Studios (I am a huge Harry Potter fan).  I am excited to welcome you this year and look forward to learning together!
